About Chapel Hill/Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk

Due to the pandemic, the 34th Annual Chapel Hill/Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk will be virtual this year and will take place the week of April 18th – April 25th. April 25th is the scheduled walk day.

Plan to join the 34th Annual Chapel Hill/Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk. Due to the pandemic, the walk will be virtual this year and will run the whole week of April 18th – April 25th with April 25th scheduled as the walk day.

Our goal is to raise $40,000. Twenty-five percent of funds raised will benefit the Inter-Faith Council for Social Services. Church World Service will use the remaining funds for to fight hunger both in the U.S. and globally.

If you are a team captain for your congregation or wish to be involved with planning the walk, please contact the Planning Committee Chair Mae McLendon at mmclendon@ifcmailbox.org to join our virtual meetings via Zoom.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world.
