Charlotte, NC CROP Hunger Walk

About Charlotte, NC CROP Hunger Walk

The Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk is planning an in-person event at the newly remodeled American Legion Memorial Stadium (1218-1238 Armory Drive) next to CPCC to continue the fight against hunger and poverty in our community as well as globally. However, since COVID is still impacting our communities, teams and individuals can feel free to participate “virtually” if they prefer. (This means groups and individuals can walk on their own in their neighborhoods.)

The Memorial Stadium gathering will be a little different than past walks - we will be walking laps in the stadium (5 laps is equal to 1 mile) instead of on the streets of Charlotte. Walkers can choose to walk as many laps as they like.

1:30 PM Registration/sign-in opens
Participants can begin walking after they sign in to allow as much distance spacing as possible due to COVID

Local Agency recipients: Crisis Assistance Ministry, Loaves & Fishes/Friendship Trays, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
