Pajaro Valley CROP Hunger Walk

About Pajaro Valley CROP Hunger Walk

This year's walk is set for Saturday, October 16. Check-in and registration is at 8:00 a.m. Walk starts at 8:30 a.m.

CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide - and here in the U.S - to have food and water for today, while building for a better tomorrow. Our local efforts are making a huge difference...and you are part of it! The CROP Hunger Walk has long recognized that no single organization can meet all the critical needs that arise from hunger and poverty. That's why we partner with others to raise funds for our local Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County, as well as Church World Service internationally.

Participants raise funds by getting pledges or donating. 75% of every dollar goes toward Church World Service and 25% go to Second Harvest.

Everyone's welcome! Walk with us, get involved and feel like you're supporting the cause.

This event is set to happen in person. We also have a virtual option for those who want to continue to participate virtually.

Participants walk 3.5 miles from Second Harvest Food Bank on Ohlone Parkway to Main Street, Rodriguez Street to West Beach, back to Second Harvest.

We greatly appreciate your support!

We will gather in front of Second Harvest Food Bank at 800 Ohlone Pkwy in Watsonville at 8:00 a.m. Walk starts at 8:30 a.m.

Please reach out to Watsonville First United Methodist Church if you have additional questions at (831) 724-4434.
