Rockford continues to fight against disease, disaster, displacement and other challenges that leave people hungry. Local wars and post-Covid inflation have dramatically increased food costs here and threatens other nations with actual starvation.
After reaching out to family and friends, asking them to support your personal fight against hunger in Rockford and beyond, gather with others on Sunday, October 16. Those who have raised funds helped Rockford’s food pantries and Church World Service provide the meals people need today and sustainable food security for tomorrow!
After two years of virtual CROP Hunger Walks, Rockford returns to the real thing this fall: a 4K walk that begins and ends at the Riverfront Museum Part, 711 N. Main St.
Past Rockford Walks have raised over $950,000 over 36 years. We can reach one million this year with your help.
