The St. Paul CROP Hunger Walk is an annual event sponsored by Church World Service to raise money to help fight hunger in St. Paul and around the world.
Teams and individuals from local congregations, businesses, and other organizations walk as much or as little as they like on a planned route down Summit Avenue, raising awareness and money in the process. Money can be raised directly by the walkers through personal and team pages on the fundraising website or through asking family, friends, and acquaintances for support. Some churches or groups may choose to raise money through fundraising events or special collections instead. 25% of the money raised goes to the Department of Indian Work Emergency Services in St. Paul, and the remainder is used to support Church World Service's hunger relief efforts throughout the world.
Walker sign-in will begin on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at Macalester Plymouth United Church at 1658 Lincoln Avenue.
We will begin walking at 1:15 p.m.
