For 43 years, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County faith community has come together to fight hunger. Local organizations Crisis Control Ministry and Sunnyside Ministry benefit from the Walk with 25% of the funds staying in our community. Church World Service receives the remaining funds to assist with disaster relief efforts, famine, droughts, and agricultural education throughout 65 countries.
In 2023, we hope you will join in as we continue fighting against disease, disaster, displacement and other challenges that leave people hungry. Together, we can build global resilience.
Join with us as we raise funds to help neighbors near and far get the meals they need for today and sustainable food security for tomorrow!
Save the Date! Team captains are encouraged to attend the annual Lunch & Learn on Thursday, August 24th at Home Moravian Church.

T-shirts are a fundraising incentive this year. Shirts will be FREE to youth Walkers (under 12 years old) who raise $50 and Walkers (13 years or older) who raise $100 in donations. Limited shirts will be available for purchase after the walk for those who did not meet the shirt fundraising goal. Team captains can pick up shirts in advance at Crisis Control Ministry or day-of the Walk at Corpening Plaza.
