John U. Miller Memorial CROP Hunger Walk

About John U. Miller Memorial CROP Hunger Walk

No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

The 45th anniversary CROP Hunger Walk in Albany (now known as the John U Miller Memorial CROP Hunger Walk) was held on Sunday, May 3rd, starting from St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Hackett Blvd.

Over 250 walkers participated, some walking in other locations and on other days during the month of May. As of June 30, the total income was $111,266.  This includes on-line gifts Facebook donations, and cash and checks processed by our treasurer and sent on to CWS.

Many thanks to all the walkers, volunteers, donors, and corporate sponsors who helped make this 45th anniversary walk such a success.

Mark your calendars now for May 2, 2027, when we will once again step off from St. Paul's Episcopal Church to help make hunger disappear.

Please join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.
