2026 CROP Hunger Walk

THANKS to CROP Hunger Walk teams and individuals who have REGISTERED to walk and/or DONATED for the

GREATER ALLENTOWN CROP HUNGER WALK: Sunday, October 18, 2026
1:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 1:00 p.m.
at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown, PA 18104

The steps we take and funds we raise will MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE in the lives of our neighbors in need!

4 REMINDERS—If you haven’t already done so, please:

1) Congregations/Businesses/Groups:
REGISTER your CROP Hunger Walk TEAM via this CROP website

2) Congregations/Businesses/Groups:
SPONSOR the CROP Hunger Walk with a donation of $100 or more via this CROP website

Click on “Corporate Sponsorships” under the “Donate” tab at the top of this page; or send a check for “CWS/CROP” (Memo: Sponsorship) to our Linda Held, CROP Treasurer, 3441 Devonshire Rd, Allentown, PA 18103. After we have received your sponsorship donation, we will feature your logo in the Sponsor Collage on our CROP Hunger Walk website.

3) Individuals:
DONATE and/or REGISTER TO WALK via this CROP website
or donate and/or sign up through your congregation/group/business.
Checks for “CWS/CROP” may also be mailed to Linda Held, CROP Treasurer, 3441 Devonshire Rd, Allentown, PA 18103.

4) Everyone:
SPREAD THE WORD via emails, social media, mission minutes, newsletter and bulletin blurbs for family, friends, and other members of your congregation/group/business! Ask them to donate and/or walk!

FREE T-SHIRT for INDIVIDUALS who raise $150 or more by 10/18/26
(T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the 10/18/26 CROP Hunger Walk.)
GOLDEN SNEAKER, SILVER SANDAL, and BRONZE BOOTIE awards for TEAMS that raise the most money percentage-wise relative to their 2025 totals

OTHER INFORMATION:

The CROP Hunger Walk is a great intergenerational fellowship and community service opportunity for individuals, families, children and youth groups, adult groups, businesses, organizations, and congregations.

Two route options from which walkers may choose:
A 10K route and a "Golden Mile" route (with refreshments available for both).

The Greater Allentown CROP Hunger Walk helps food-insecure neighbors locally through the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank and the Lehigh Churches Conference Kitchen.
Our CROP Walk funds also support Church World Service’s life-saving disaster assistance, displacement assistance, and long-term development assistance with our neighbors in need throughout the United States and around the globe, including survivors of floods, fires, droughts, earthquakes, wars, and other humanitarian crises.
