2026 CROP Hunger Walk

Please join us for a pre-walk fundraiser to support the Burke CROP Hunger Walk. Invite a friend to join your family for meal at Honeygrow on Saturday, June 27th between 10:30am - 10pm. 20% of proceeds will be donated to the Walk. Use promo code - GIVE164. Please see the flyer for details.

Join us on Sunday, November 8th for the 34th annual Burke CROP Hunger Walk.
Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to this fun, family-friendly fundraising event that supports the eradication of local and global hunger.

Where the Funds Go
Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will benefit our local hunger partners, Western Fairfax Christian Ministries and Ecumenical Community Helping Others (ECHO, Inc.) two organizations serving families in Fairfax County who are experiencing food insecurity. The remaining funds support the global mission of Church World Service, providing empowerment programs, tools, and training that promote long-term sustainability, access to nutritious food, and clean water.

Preparing for the Walk:
• Register and set up your team page online so you don’t have to handle cash and checks.
• Set your fundraising goal and recruit walkers and sponsors to support you.
• Join us for a delicious fundraiser at Noosh Grill, 9573 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA, on Tuesday, Sept. 15th, and support the Burke CROP Hunger Walk! From 11:00 am – 10:00 pm, 15% of all purchases will be donated to help fight hunger locally and around the world through the CROP Hunger Walk.

Walk Day:
• Registration for teams and individuals is between 1pm-1:30 pm
• Step off is at 2:00 pm
• Take pictures and videos about why you walk and share them on social media using #CROPHungerWalk and #BurkeCROPWalk.

Instructions for Walk Donations:
• Please encourage walkers to donate online so you don’t have to handle cash and checks.
• For walkers who choose to write a check, make checks payable to CWS/CROP and mail to the CROP Hunger Walk treasurer at:
