2026 CROP Hunger Walk

New Date and route!
This year’s CROP Hunger Walk and Bike ride will be held on September 27, 2026, departing from Gail Borden Library and going north along the Fox River.

A real rally!
In preparation for the Walk we will hold a CROP Walk Rally and Action Day on Sunday, August 30 at Gail Borden Library. Speakers on local and global poverty will talk about the needs both of our community and world, we will assemble emergency hygiene kits that are needed by people in emergency settings and we will eat ice cream. This event is for more than simply team captains, everyone is invited to attend.

As always, ¼ of the money raised will be returned to Elgin Community Ministries for our soup kettles and food pantries.
