Join Us for the 42nd Annual Roanoke Valley CROP Hunger Walk
Join us on Sunday, October 11th for the 42nd Annual Roanoke Valley CROP Hunger Walk as we walk together and raise funds to provide sustainable solutions to hunger, poverty, disaster, and displacement.
Bring your family members, invite a friend, co-worker, or neighbor, and become part of a movement that is transforming lives one step at a time.
Where the Funds Go
According to Feeding Southwest Virginia, 25.2% of children in Roanoke experience food insecurity. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised through the Roanoke Valley CROP Hunger Walk will benefit our local hunger partner, the Community Solutions Center at Feeding Southwest Virginia, which serves children and families facing hunger throughout our region.
The remaining funds support the global mission of Church World Service (CWS), providing communities around the world with empowerment programs, tools, training, and resources that promote long-term sustainability, access to nutritious food, and clean water.
