South of the River CROP Hunger Walk

About South of the River CROP Hunger Walk

No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Join us for our 14th year of walking to end hunger!

Our route is 3 miles, round trip, with a shorter option available.

We will begin after a short program at 1:00 pm, but please join us for our pre-walk bake sale and second annual Hot Dish Hustle -- a free community meal -- from 11:45 - 1:00. You can also bring non-perishable items for our food drive (benefiting Rosemount Resource Center food shelf), AND 25% of the funds we raise will go to Second Harvest Heartland!

This is a family-friendly event, and well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome. This is also a "zero waste" event using compostable plates and utensils, and you are encouraged to bring your own refillable water bottle.

Please join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.
