Join Us for the 51st Annual Waynesboro/East Augusta CROP Hunger Walk!

The needs of hungry families in the Waynesboro and East Augusta communities and around the world are greater than ever. We invite you to join us for the 51st Annual Waynesboro/East Augusta CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, September 20th at North Park, 800 Bridge Avenue, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

Invite your friends, family members, neighbors, and co-workers to join you as we take steps together to end hunger and poverty in our community and around the world.

Preparing for the Walk:
Register Online -
Register and set up your team page online so you can easily collect donations without having to handle cash and checks.
Build Your Team -
• Set a fundraising goal.
• Recruit walkers and sponsors to support your efforts.
• Share the event flyer throughout the community.
• Follow us on Facebook for updates and announcements.

Walk Day Schedule:
• 1:30 PM – Registration for teams and individuals begins
• 2:00 PM – Walk Step-Off

Donation Instructions:
Online Giving -

We encourage all walkers and supporters to donate online whenever possible.
Check Donations -
• Make all checks payable to CWS/CROP.
• Checks may be brought to the Walk.
• Following the Walk, email CROP Hunger Walk Treasurers Bruce and Barbara Hamrick at bbhamrick@comcast.net for instructions on submitting donations.
Cash Donations -
If supporters give cash:
• Keep a record of each donor so they receive proper credit.
• Convert cash donations into a money order payable to CWS/CROP.
• Include the money order in your report to the Walk Treasurer.

Your Impact:
Twenty-five percent of funds raised through the CROP Hunger Walk remain in our community to support:
Blue Ridge Area Food Bank
• Disciples Kitchen
• Waynesboro Senior Center

The remaining seventy-five percent supports hunger-fighting, humanitarian assistance, refugee support, and disaster response programs of Church World Service around the world.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors—both locally and globally. We look forward to walking with you on September 20th!
