2026 CROP Hunger Walk supporting CWS

Help!
What are you doing Sunday afternoon 18th October 2026? Will you donate a couple of hours to help build a world where there is enough for all?
Come walk the CROP walk with us in beautiful downtown Gales Ferry and help change the world. We start and end at the United Methodist Church, Chapman Lane, 06335. Our St. David’s Episcopal CROP Walk Team will join with all the other community teams to raise funds and fight hunger and want together. 25% of funds will go locally to the Gemma E Moran Food Bank to serve those of us in need in New London County through food pantries, senior centers, schools, shelters, and mobile pantries visiting our towns. 75% for US and global programs to build community resilience. When we walk in the CROP Hunger Walk, we are raising money to help fight hunger and we are also walking in solidarity with these who live in food deserts, who are walking for work, for access to health care, and for a safe place to call home.
Come Walk with us. Can’t walk? We have a couple of tasks that need some workers for an hour on Saturday morning October 3, and Sunday afternoon, October 18/ day of the CROP Walk
