About Austin CROP Hunger Walk
Join us on Sunday, March 2nd at Camp Mabry to celebrate the 47th Annual Austin CROP Hunger Walk.
Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to this fun, family-friendly event with music and educational activities for all ages.
Preparing for the Walk:
o Register and set up your team page online so you don’t have to handle cash and checks.
o Pick up team captain packets and other walk promotional materials on January 4th from Westminster Presbyterian Church or Memorial UMC. Pick up time: 10am – 11:30am.
o Attend the virtual Team Captain Rally on Saturday, January 18th at 10am. The link for the Rally will be shared closer to the date of the meeting.
o Set your fundraising goal and recruit walkers and sponsors to support you.

Walk Day:
• Registration for teams and individuals begins at 1:30 pm. NOTE: Your ID is needed to access Camp Mabry Military Base.
• Visit the education stations and learn about the local and global impact of your support.
• Assemble period packs that will be shipped by CWS to communities around the U.S. affected by natural disaster.
• Gathering on the green is at 2:00 pm
• Step off is at 2:30 pm. The route is 1.1 miles, but you may go around the track multiple times.
• Take pictures and videos about why you walk and share them on social media using #CROPHungerWalk, #Enough4All, #EndHungerNow and #AustinCROPHungerWalk.
Instructions for Walk Donations
• Please encourage walkers to donate online so you don’t have to handle cash and checks.
• For walkers who choose to write a check, make checks payable to CWS/CROP and bring them to the Walk or mail to the CROP Walk Treasurer, Nancy Ebert, 16912 Pocono Dr, Austin, TX 78717.
Our local agencies and CWS need our support even more today. Together we can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors locally and globally.
