2025 CROP Hunger Walk

Join us for the 51st Annual Greater Bridgeport CROP Hunger Walk!
· Sunday, May 4th beginning at 1:30 pm
· Begins and ends at United Congregational Church of Bridgeport, 2200 North Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604
· The main route will be 2.2 miles, and a shorter one-mile option is available
· We encourage everyone to please bring a non-perishable item to support our host, nOURish Bridgeport
· We walk rain or shine!

Come to the CROP Walk Rally information session. All are welcome!
· Sunday March 30th at 2:00PM
· Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611
· Pick up your CROP Hunger Walk materials
· Adam Smedberg from CWS will share how our Walk supports their national and global programs
· Rev. Sara Smith will speak about nOURish Bridgeport, a program our Walk supports in Bridgeport

In the face of the continuing needs of hungry people around the world, in our nation, and here in the Bridgeport Area, especially in a time of natural disasters, wars, and waves of refugees, we remain steadfast in our commitment to raising money in the fight against hunger through our annual hunger walks. For over 50 years, the Greater Bridgeport CROP Hunger Walks has raised more than $2 million to benefit our most vulnerable neighbors both around the globe and right here in the Bridgeport area. Last year, we once again were one of the top walks in the nation, raising over $31,000 to help others! Locally our CROP Hunger Walk supports eleven local food pantry programs including:

· Daughters of Charity Rescue Mission
· King’s Pantry
· nOURish Bridgeport
· Monroe Food Pantry
· Operation Hope
· Spooner House
· Stratford Baptist Church
· Thomas Merton Center
· Trumbull Social Services
· Beth-El Center
