Charlottesville CROP Hunger Walk

About Charlottesville CROP Hunger Walk

No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Time/Date:
Registration begins at 1:00 pm; Walk begins at 1:30 pm
Sunday, October 12, 2025

Walk Distance:
5 km (option) or 10 km

Seventy-five percent of your donations will be used by Church World Service to support the organization's global hunger, self-help development, and disaster assistance activities. Twenty-five percent of the total funds will be used to help feed families who are served through our local Emergency Food Network and Meals on Wheels of Charlottesville/Albemarle.

You are encouraged to request CROP Hunger Walk donations from your family, neighbors, church members and school friends.

Consider using your social media contacts to raise money on-line to help relieve local and world hunger.

We will be posting more details and ideas from our volunteers on our local Facebook page.

Please join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.
