For 12 years, the South of the River CROP Walk has been working to end hunger locally and globally. Join us for our 13th annual event, continuing that important work at a time when it is more critical than ever to do what we can to ensure a world where there is enough for all! Second Harvest Heartland will receive 25% of the funds we raise. Our walk starts at 1:00 pm, and will be 3 miles, with a 3/4 mile short route option.
This is a family-friendly event, and pets are also welcome (leashed). Bring your refillable water bottle to help keep us "green". You are invited to contribute to our food drive, with non-perishable items to be distributed to the Rosemount Resource Center Food Shelf.
If walking is not an option, you can still contribute to our fund-raising efforts by joining us for a pre-walk community meal, or browse our bake sale, from 12:00 noon to 1:00PM; all proceeds will go to the South of the River CROP Walk.
Please join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.
