2025 CROP Hunger Walk

Walk. Give. Change the world.

Even though our Walk is finished, we still welcome donations.

At this point our Chelsea/Dexter Area Walk is at 27,010,59! 

The amount from Chelsea 1st UMC is $8,086.

This number includes check and cash donations, donations through Facebook, and RMD distributions from generous donors.

If we work together, we can end world hunger. That's why we're participating in the CROP Hunger Walk to support CWS and help families who are struggling with hunger. Please join us with your steps and your donations. Together we will provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them and create greater food security in communities around the world.

New This Year: Canstruction Challenge! Construct objects using cans and other goods to be donated to Faith in Action.  FIA is looking forward to donated items! 

Tape cans and boxes together to create objects, animals, buildings. Use your imagination!  The structures can be created prior to the Walk, and taken to the St. Paul Fellowship Hall, downstairs. I recommend using low boxes from Costco, the ones with handles, for transporting and displaying the structures. 

Be sure to check the "use by" dates on the items you are donating. Cans, boxes, cleaning supplies: all are welcome. ed
