Annandale CROP Hunger Walk

About Annandale CROP Hunger Walk

No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the Annandale CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Please join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.

Registration starts at 8 am near the Lake Accotink Park marina and the opening ceremony starts at 8:15 am. Walkers start on the trails at 8:30 am.

The team leads meeting was held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 14. Please email accacrop@gmail.com to request meeting information about the Annandale Walk and registering a team.

Church World Service will share part of the funds raised with ACCA Inc. (https://accacares.org/), which fights hunger and poverty in the Annandale-Baileys Crossroads area.

Children and youth through grade 12 are invited to make posters that promote the Annandale CROP Hunger Walk and raise awareness about hunger. Posters are due by October 9- please email Camille at accacrop@gmail.com for more information.
