41st Annual CROP Hunger Walk - May 5, 2024

Join Oak Park/Forest Park area church communities!

Registration begins at 1:00 pm
Pre-Event Rally (including music, children's activities, and speeches) begins at 1:30 pm
Walk kicks off at 2:00 pm

Hunger is one of the greatest injustices facing our world, impacting families locally and globally. But it doesn't have to be that way. Ending hunger is possible, and it is possible in our lifetime. As the 8th best CROP walk in the nation in 2023 and over 2 million dollars in funds raised in the lifetime of the walk - we know we are making a substantial step forward in ending hunger.

The 2024 CROP Walk raises funds for and awareness of the ever-present food insecurity issues in Cook County and other U.S. and international areas! Portions of our CROP funds support Beyond Hunger, Community Fridge, Migrant Ministry, River Forest Proviso Pantry, and First Baptist Oak Park Food Pantry. CROP Walk funds also support global resilience efforts in 53 countries.

The 3-mile walk, on Sunday, May 5, starts at 2 pm at
Pilgrim Congregational Church
460 Lake St, Oak Park, IL 60302
Ascension church will be open as a rest stop with water, snacks, and bathrooms at approximately the halfway point.
