No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the South of the River CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.
Join us for the 12th Annual South of the River CROP Hunger Walk! The walk steps off at 2:00 pm, but plan to come early to enjoy our pre-walk activities beginning at 12:30. There will be a free community meal, a bake sale, and live music. This is a family-friendly event, and pets are also welcome if they are leashed.
The route is approximately 3 miles, with a shorter option of less than 1 mile. Help keep us "green" by bringing your own refillable water bottle; fill stations will be available at the beginning and the half-way point.
Bring non-perishable food items to support the Rosemount Resource Center food shelf. Our local agency, designated to receive 25% of funds raised, is Second Harvest Heartland.
