Springfield CROP Hunger Walk

About Springfield CROP Hunger Walk

No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the Springfield CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Please join us in the fight against hunger. The steps we take and funds we raise will make a difference in the lives of others.

The 2024 CROP Hunger Walk starts and ends at Third Presbyterian Church at 1030 N. 7th St. on Sunday, October 6. Check in time is 1:00 and the Walk begins at 1:30. Preceding the Walk, there will be an opportunity to make hygiene kits for the homeless. CROP Walk is 2.5 miles. This distance is good for the whole family. It will take an average walker about one hour to complete the route.

Maps will be available at check-in for all participants. The Walk highlights our supported food pantries. There will be a water stop and restrooms will be available at start and end of the Walk. Walkers learn about hunger issues around our world and in Springfield. Thank you for being a Hunger Fighter!

All Walkers will receive a shirt!
