2024 CROP Hunger Walk

Walk. Give. Change the world.

If we work together, we can end world hunger. That's why we're participating in the 2024 CROP Hunger Walk to help families who are struggling with hunger. Last year we raised the most for a congregation our size in Durham--we are an important part of the solution.  Please join us with your steps and your donations. Together we will provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them and create greater food security in communities around the world.

As winter turns into spring we will celebrate Purim with hamentashen, groggers, and costumes  But if we didn’t give gifts to the poor the celebration would be incomplete.  At Passover we declare “Let all who are hungry come and eat.”  These holidays encourage us to tie our joy to the needs of our neighbors.  

This year, Beth El's USY & Kadima are joining the walk--support our youth's efforts at tzedakah.
