2024 CROP Hunger Walk

Walk. Give. Change the world.

We're participating in the 2024 Durham CROP Hunger Walk to support CWS and help families who are struggling with hunger. CWS supports persons who consistently struggle with food security as well as persons in crisis. Notably, CWS is a primary international agency addressing the global refugee crisis. According to the United Nations High Committee for Refugees (UNHCR) there were 110 million (31% increase over 2022)globally forcibly displaced persons in 2023.  We can not look away while our neighbors from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria, South Sudan, Columbia, Venezuela, Yemen, and Palestine/Gaza all struggle to survive! We can not look away when our local Durham neighbors are hungry! We're asking you to join us - with your steps and your donations - to provide more meals and more secure sources of food security for our neighbors both here in Durham and around our world. You're also helping to provide refugee resettlement for the growing number of  people who need are in need of safety, warm meals, shelter, and hope.
