We’ve got an exciting update!
Long time member of UUCE and certified (by me) CROP Walk Expert Level Participant, Bob Jackson, has stepped up to the plate by joining The Stultz Team in Sponsoring our UUCE Team!
Bob has generously offered to ALSO match the first $500 in donations!
This means that if you donate through the UUCE team, all donations will be TRIPLED until we hit $500 - then all donations will be DOUBLED until we hit $1000 in donations!
For example: We currently have $193 donated (I know you guys can do better!) which means that the total we will be giving to the CROP Walk at this time is $579!
It’s like very cool magic that only works if YOU donate!
Our congregation has proudly supported the Northern IL Food Bank and Elgin Food Pantry each week through your donations of non-perishable food items and we hope to increase our impact by participating in the Annual Elgin CROP Walk!
Members and friends can help raise funds by joining the UUCE Team as walkers or bicyclists at the event downtown on October 27th OR if you’re unable to physically join the team – your monetary donations are what funds our team’s efforts! You don’t even have to get off your couch to make a difference!
Please Note that CROP Walk donations will NOT be channeled through UUCE’s bank account. We recommend making your donations online via the donate button on this page or if you will be donating via check please make sure it is made payable to “CWS/CROP”.
