Walk. Give. Change the world.

*** Preliminary Results are In! United Church of Chapel Hill fielded a team of 50 walkers and was the number one fundraiser of 26 teams in our community! Many thanks for all you do to "Bee the Change".

Join Us on March 24, 2024, for the 37th annual Chapel Hill-Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk

The need has never been greater for helping those who face food insecurity in our community and around the world.

We are asking you to join the United Church of Chapel Hill team on Sunday, March 24, 2024, as we walk once again to raise funds for Inter-Faith Council for Social Service and Church World Service hunger relief efforts. Not able to walk with us? Consider just making a donation or sponsoring other walkers.

The in-person Walk will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 with registration and entertainment beginning at 1:30 p.m. Experience live music, snacks, t-shirt sales -- and UNC mascot Rameses posing for photos!

Orange County beekeepers will also be on hand with a display as part of the walk's "Bee the Change" theme, which refers to Church World Service programs that increase essential income for beekeeping families overseas. Read a Story of Change: Valuable livestock in Kenya: Bees!

Last year the Chapel Hill-Carrboro CROP Hunger Walk raised over $40,000, with $4,000 contributed through generous UCCH donations. Let's exceed that this year as we walk to "Bee the Change" to end hunger in our local community and around the world.

Please join us -- your support is needed now more than ever!
