No one in this world should be hungry. That's why the Greater Triangle Area CROP Hunger Walk is more than just a gathering of people in a place. We're part of a movement, taking steps and raising funds together to provide meals for those in our own community who need them - and supporting programs that create greater food security in communities all around the world.

Join us this year for the Annual Greater Triangle Area CROP Hunger Walk on SATURDAY, November 8th at First Baptist Church, 99 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
Walk Day
Registration begins at 10:00am
Step off is at 11:00am
Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to this fun, family-friendly event with music and educational activities for all ages.
Preparing for the Walk:
• Register and set up your team page online so you don’t have to handle cash and checks.
• Attend Team Captain Rally:
-- Saturday, September 13th at First Baptist Church, 99 N. Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC. Time: 10-11:30am
• Set your fundraising goal and recruit walkers and sponsors to support you.
• Keep checking the website for key updates.
• Keep checking social media pages for updates: Facebook and Instagram
Walk Day:
• Registration for teams and individuals begins at 10:00 am.
• Step off is at 11:00 am.
• We will assemble disaster kits that CWS will ship to areas around the country affected by natural disasters. Please arrive early and join the kit assembly activity.
• Take pictures and videos about why you walk and share them on social media using #Endhungernow and #CROPHungerWalk.
• We are collecting nonperishable food items for Urban Ministries of Wake County. Please bring items to donate on Walk day. See this flyer with a list of needed items.
Instructions for Walk Donations:
• Please encourage walkers to donate online so you don’t have to handle cash and checks.
• For walkers who choose to write a check, make checks payable to CWS/CROP and mail them to AJAY R. SHAH, CROP Walk Treasurer, 733 Keystone Park Drive, Morrisville, NC 27560. Please be sure to write the name of your team on your envelope so your team receives credit for funds raised.
Funding cuts have had a significant impact on benefiting agencies and services to our neighbors. Your support is needed more than ever today. Together we can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors locally and globally.
