2026 CROP Hunger Walk

Time to get your steps in and raise money for a great cause! We are organizing an in-person walk for 2026, starting at Pilgrim Church in Oak Park, giving away buttons, with snacks, kids activities, and more. Check out our website HERE

Church World Service continues to face major setbacks this year, making our efforts to help fund their critical mission MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER. Withheld federal funding has forced them to cut their staff in half, severely curtailing their ability to serve hungry people around the world. Money we raise this year counts for so much more, in a world where the need for their services continues to grow.

Now is the time to form up teams so participants have the month of April to raise money from friends, family, neighbors, anyone! Here are some resources to get that effort started. It's also a great time to get this event on your organization's calendar.

I have yard signs, walker collection envelopes, and a bunch of other materials available to hand out.
