Adventure With Purpose. Trek for Justice.

I have walked in the CROP Hunger Walk for 34 years, many of those years alongside my husband and daughters, and have grown such a passion for how hunger and disaster impact the world. After all these years in leadership with the CROP Hunger Walk, I have been able to see how this affects our local and global neighbors. I have seen firsthand at a local agency that our walk supports how serious of a problem food insufficiency is in our local area and how it is still happening, even worsening each year. I have been blessed with what I have and now I want to combine my time in retirement of travel and adventure, with my passion for the local and global issues of hunger and poverty. I am adventuring out on the CROP Hunger Trek as a chance to do something I love and make an impact on something important to me. 100% of your donation goes to CWS and their mission of proving for those facing hunger, poverty, disaster, and displacement (we have covered travel costs ourselves). Please join me in supporting this life-changing cause as I Trek to help provide enough for all by donating to my fundraiser today!

The Finish

Plan changed. We hiked about half the distance of the original plan, only on Bright Angel. Very sore after but worth it to see the glorious canyon and know that we were doing good for many people who make much harder treks than ours daily just to get water and food.
